Here is a photo of a billboard from the 1920s in the Town of Aurora, my home town. What I love about this photo is that the welcome sign in the shape of a book, quite different from the simple rectangular signs we see today. It gives me a warm and comforting feeling as if entering a story book –the feeling of home.

I think this is an interesting blog! The picture itself has a unique design and you have talked about how it could relate to your feeling of home which is nice. I like this post because I used to see the sign of Aurora often as I played against St. Andrew’s College which is in your hometown multiple times. So that sign means a tough battle while it means sweet home for you. So I think it was interesting as different people see the same thing from different perspectives.
